| COMPANY PROFILE | ||
| Trop Aquarium started with a simple principle : to put customer first. In fact, it's in everything we do, from the breeding and delivery of our supplies, right down to the staff we recruit and train. |
| We started as a breeder and wholesaler supplying to local exporters in 1987. Within a short span of 2 years, we began our first export to Europe. We were commended for our quality fish, good packing and timely delivery. This built our confidence and we began exporting marine fishes, invertebrates and aquatic plants in addition to freshwater tropical fishes. |
| As we see the increasing
needs of our customers, we started the
construction of our farm in 1993, which began its operations in
1995. The farm occupies a land area of 13,968 m2, fully
equipped with 1000 quarantine tanks, a grow-out area of 8,980 m2,
a temperature-controlled packing room, laboratory for research &
development projects, and also computerised systems for its trading.
All these facilities provide assurance of top quality fishes ready
for world-wide export. In addition, our supply of fishes is also important.
Supplies not only come from local farmers, but also directly
imported,
to widen the varieties we can supply to our customers.
We also invest heavily on technological innovation and research. This has allowed the building of a water recycling system using the latest in water recycling technology. |

| We are awarded ISO 9002 & ISO 14001 for our Quality Assurance and Environmental Management consecutively within year 2000 and upgraded to ISO 9001 in year 2002. We are also awarded the International Award for Best Performance for year 2001/2002. | ||

Years has passed and Trop Aquarium is now a global venture but the commitment to our customers remains intact. We are still a company that delivers what it promises at good quality and a fair price; a practice that has made us one of Singapore's top fish farms. Over the years, we have gained recognition for our farm management, ability to meet customers' needs and advance footage in bringing new technology into the fish industry. |
